The Entrance Concept Art TUTORIAL by AlexBroeckel The Entrance Concept Art TUTORIAL by AlexBroeckel
i just finished my first ever Concept Art Tutorial! you can find it here: gumroad.com/l/TheEntrance (FULL HD 1920x1080)

i recorded my process for you to learn how i work and give some useful tips in form Subtitles in the video.

for me this is some a little experiment: if you have specific questions about whats happening in the video (maybe details about technique, tools, or just some clarification) you can ask your questions here in this thread

i will try to answer it as soon as i can. this way we this could become some kind of "interactive" video tutorial. when you have questions please state the point of time in the video you are talking about, others who watched it can follow along.

AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IN THE COMMENTS :)

Well! That's an eye opener. :D I never used the smudge tool so extensively. Your appraoch to a painting is roughly similar to the way I start out, sketching first. But your tool set is very extensive (to my eyes). I've been playing around with brushes for years, narrowing them down to only 5 or 6. But the tool presets are amazing. Never thought of using them this way. Never to old to learn. I'll be sure to delve into this further. Thanks for sharing!
